Usually the heavier something is, the bulkier the support system needs to be in order to keep it secure. But a new shade system from MechoSystems proves this is not always the case. At last month’s Greenbuild show in New Orleans, MechoSystems presented their MagnaShade system, a super-wide roller shade that does the job of multiple shade bands without the unsightly seams. Unlike conventional solutions, MagnaShade maintains a low profile for shades up to approximately 40′ wide by 20′ high and avoids the light gaps associated with multiple shade bands.
