Terri Lee, associate principal at Kohn Pedersen Fox, and graphic designer Sanshin Liu have teamed up to design a minimal, yet stylish compact handbag collection. The design collaboration was actually a family affair, since Liu is Lee’s aunt. Designed and manufactured exclusively in New York City, the GoFish collection uses clean lines, vibrant colors, and high-grade, easy-to-clean polyurethane, vinyl, and polyester materials. Drawing inspiration from Mid-Century masters of design, the collection includes Ain ($68), a 5.75” high x 6.5” wide wristlet for the bare essentials, Allyn ($188), a 8.5” high x 12.5” wide versatile bag that can be used with or without a strap to go from the project meeting to cocktail party, and Ellwood ($264), a compact crossbody bag with an outside slide pocket, zip top, and adjustable shoulder strap.
