Kiddo Collection by New Ravenna

It’s the wrong side of Labor Day, so that means back-to-school for kids and parents. What better time than the start of the school year to feature these playful tile designs for kid-friendly spaces from New Ravenna? Made in Virginia, the Kiddo Collection of mosaics by designer Cean Irminger includes seven cheerful designs made of New Ravenna’s extensive range of materials, including many colors and shades of stone, jewel glass, and gold glass. As I am a fan of sea monsters (and Boston Terriers, the model in the photo) I’m partial to the “What’s in the Box” water jet mosaic showing various creatures hiding in a grid of cubes. While perfect for bathrooms, these tiles could also be feature walls in creative agencies, publishing companies, or any space that cherishes a child-like imagination.
