During the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show in Las Vegas earlier this month, Poggenpohl announced their introduction of goldreif by Poggenpohl to the U.S. market. Goldreif, which has been producing cabinetry in Europe since 1929, offers an accessible entry price point to the luxury Poggenpohl brand.
According to Neil Bailey, president of Poggenpohl U.S., the aim with goldreif is to increase the company’s market share in the mid- market to premium segment. Goldreif offers three cabinet ranges (Pure, Profile, and Classic) and 113 door styles. The cabinets feature shelving and panel systems available in thicknesses ranging from .47” to 4.72”, in 50 different standard colors and materials. Wooden, veneered, or décor fronts are available with a vertical or horizontal grain structure at no extra surcharge.
The goldreif product will only be available through Poggenpohl’s own network. The kitchens will be produced in factories in Wels and Freistadt in Austria, and there is a four to six week manufacturing lead time.
