Portland, Oregon’s Viridian Reclaimed Wood has introduced a line of paneling derived from reclaimed cedar and redwood fencing. Playing off of the Robert Frost verse ‘good fences make good neighbors’, the Good Neighbor panels are lightweight and come in weathered redwood, fresh-sawn redwood, and multi-toned varieties.
The weathered redwood has been exposed to years of sun, rain, and snow to create a color palette with charcoal and brown tones. Either the weathered or fresh-sawn varieties can be used exclusively or mixed and matched to create unique looks. Good Neighbor Multi-Toned contains a spectrum of reds, charcoals, grays, browns, and moss greens. Some retain the vintage look of faded paint or sun-bleached whitewash.
All material is kiln dried, goes through a brushing process, and can be milled in a variety of ways for easy installation. The FSC recycled 100% (post-consumer reclaimed) paneling is 1/2” thick, with a 5” face, in lengths of 12” to 70”.
