Later this month in Las Vegas, Weather Shield Windows & Doors will introduce the Contemporary Collection of windows and doors at the 2015 International Builders’ Show. The collection is a suite of windows and doors with narrow profile frames and sash, and stiles and rails for a more modern appearance and more exposed glass for custom homes that were built for the view.
The Contemporary Collection includes direct set corner, crank and push-out casement, awning, and direct set windows, and bi-fold, lift & slide, telescoping, hinged, and sliding patio doors with ergonomic hardware. The corner window (shown below) has two panes of glass that meet in the corner with only a very narrow strip of wood between, allowing for a nearly seamless view. A strong internal support structure on the exterior reinforces the unit. All options are available with energy-efficient glazing choices, such as double pane and triple pane options.
